I discovered that a lot of my family and friends been using their services for a lot longer. Owning and running a Land Rover Discovery SUV and an Audi A3 Sportback is not cheap. “I just bought a new 2002 Mercedes and unfortunately it was riddled with problems and a bad diesel smell started coming through the air vent shortly after I bought it. I urgently needed the car up and running for work (I travel in excess of 400 miles a week) so I took it to Westlake garages as they are local to me, it was my first time using their services. I was pleasantly surprised by the team. The team there were very friendly and helpful and had a good look at the vehicle identifying all of the issues with it. They then advised me of the problems they found letting me know which were serious issues and which ones I could do at a later time, saving me money. At every stage I did not feel under pressure to have to commit to using there service and they gave me the time to think about my options. I decided to get the essential issues fixed which they did in record time as I needed the car back urgently. Not only did they save me money they completed the work to a very high standard and very quickly in line with my need to be back on the road. Some other time, they picked me up from my home to the garage. Also, the guys in the garage are very friendly. PROFESSIONALISM They always give a call back to me before they fix anything, giving me a full update of damage/repairs/costs, explaining all the engineering parts needed. EXPERTISE I had a serious problem with my Mercedes c220 diesel, and all the other garages in Richmond area could not detect. COST: Very reasonable pricing for what they offer. “I have had my Jaguar XK8 serviced twice and prepared for anMoT by Westlake Garages. These are big, complicated cars that go wrong frequently and it is important to find a garage that knows what they are doing. I am happy to say that Westlake have done a really good job, fixing the heater, gearbox, rust, suspension and brakes, as well as carrying out the regular servicing items. It was expensive – that is the problem with Jaguars – but the car drives a lot better than when I first took it to them. They collect and deliver it, have let me have a loan car, and always wash and valet the XK8 before returning it – nice!”
